The Matfer Bourgeat Exoglass Bouillon Strainer/Chinois, also known as the china cap, is the perfect tool for all of your straining and sifting needs in professional and home kitchens alike. This chinois can be use for making fine stuffings, straining custards, purees, soups, and sauce, while also sifting flour and other ingredients needed for baking. This chinouis is available in a choice of 2 sizes, each sold separately. Manufactured in France, this chinois has a body and handle made of one-piece Exoglass material, developed by Matfer, making it highly durable, non-stick, non-porous, and easy to sterilize, while the mesh is made of stainless steel making this incredibly hygenic and can widthstand up to 430°F. While the body and handle is made of one piece construction, maintaining sturdiness and durability, it is additional enforced with a thick stainless steel reinforcement wire. Clean up can be just as easy, just sick it in the dishwasher!
